This version of Saffire Mix Control is the most recent version to retain compatibility with OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger). Any Tiger users should install this update for the additional features listed below. Leopard (10.5) and Snow Leopard (10.6) users should install the latest update above.

Saffire Mix Control 1.8 (Mac) Release Notes:

All interfaces:
• Included some bug fixes related to dual device naming and snapshot loading
• Fixed issues with sync source selection

Liquid Saffire 56 specific:
• The SPDIF Outputs on the Liquid Saffire 56 can now be switched to the AES/EBU standard operating level.
• The transformer loading on the Liquid preamps could cause level fluctuation problems with certain microphones. There is now a per channel option in the settings menu to switch this loading off.

Pro 24 DSP specific:
• Introduced an updated VRM GUI, now with head rotation and direction indicators.
