By taking part in our Studio Trade-In, you can exchange your eligible Focusrite equipment, no matter the condition, and save 25% on our latest gear.

If it's in good shape, we'll take your current device off your hands and get it ready to go to a new home. If not, we'll send it for recycling where parts will be reused for spares and repairs, helping us to reduce the quantity of materials we create and use.

Upgrade your studio in a few simple steps

  1. If you are in the UK or US and looking to trade in, fill out the form below and answer a few quick questions about the device you're trading in, and the model you're looking to upgrade to.
  2. Once you've submitted your details, you'll receive an email letting you know that we are processing your details. It will take up to 1 working day for a member of our team to authorise your upgrade.
  3. Once you've got the green light, you'll receive an email with your 25% promo code, which can be used on your next purchase from our website.
  4. Once you have made your order with your 25% promo code, a member of our Trade-In team will be in touch regarding the return of your original product within seven days. We'll cover the cost of your shipping and there is no return label to print off, just have your product ready for collection!

We're offering users of our legacy products the opportunity to get the latest Focusrite gear. Trading in gets you a 25% promo code to use on the latest products, and ensures your old gear gets a new lease of life or recycled for spares and repairs.

Fill out the form on this page and answer a few quick questions about the device you're going to trade in, and the model you're looking to upgrade to.

You can trade in any model from the following product range no matter the condition: Scarlett 1st Generation, Scarlett 2nd Generation, Scarlett 3rd Generation, Saffire, Forte, Clarret Thunderbolt, ISA MkI, Red 1 500 Series, RedNet 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 RedNet A16R & D16R MkI, Red 4Pre, iTrack or VRM box.

If your product is still within our 3-year warranty you can get in touch with our support team who can help arrange for your product to be repaired or replaced free of charge. They can also help arrange a repair for any units outside of warranty. Head over to our Warranty page for more details. If however you would prefer to trade up your product, then that's fine too, just fill in the form on this page.

Once you've submitted your details, it will usually take 1 working day for our team to authorise your upgrade.

Once our team have processed your upgrade, you'll receive an email with your 25% promo code which can be used on your next purchase from our website. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder as sometimes emails may be sent to those folders by your email service provider.

Your 25% promo code can only be used for purchases on the Focusrite website.

You can use your code on any Scarlett 4th Generation interface, Scarlett 3rd Generation interface, Clarett+ interface, Vocaster interface, ISA One, ISA Two, ISA 828 MkII, ISA 428 MkII, ISA ADN2, ISA ADN8, RedNet A16R MkII, RedNet D16R MkII, Red 8Line and Red 16Line.

The promo code can only be used once, redeemed against one eligible product.

Yes, promo codes will expire 12 months after being issued.

Unless otherwise stated, promo codes cannot be combined or used with other offers, promotions or sales. Codes cannot not be used on refurbished products.

Once you have made your order with your 25% promo code the Trade-In team will book a collection for your returning product within seven days. Please ensure you place your order for the new product as soon as possible, so that you receive your new product before the returning one is collected.*

There is no return label to print off for the collection, the collecting courier will take care of this. All you have to do is ensure the product is boxed and ready to give to the driver.

We'll cover the cost of shipping your product to us. Simply pack the product in an appropriately sized box – you do not need a Focusrite box or the original packaging.

There may be a slight delay in collecting your product over the holiday period due to high order volumes. But don't worry, we will be in touch as soon as we can.

Once we receive your old product our team will test and evaluate it. If it's in good shape, we'll help it get ready to go to a new home. If not, we'll send it for recycling where parts will be reused for spares and repairs, helping us to reduce the quantity of materials we create and use.

On occasion, it may not be economically or environmentally viable for us to collect your old product from you. Should this be the case, we will offer instructions for how you can recycle your existing gear through your local electronics waste facility, or through mail-in recycling schemes if unavailable locally.

The Studio Trade-In offer is only available on the products listed on the Studio trade-In submission form.

All Studio Trade-In transactions are final. Unfortunately, we are unable to send you your old unit back at a later date.

As a rule, electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) shouldn't be disposed of along with household waste. EEE may contain hazardous substances which, if exposed, could cause a serious detrimental effect on the environment, wildlife, and human health.

- Donate the unwanted item to a charitable organization, if it still works.
