16 channels of ADAT I/O and more with the latest Scarlett 4th Gen update
Scarlett 4th Gen now supports 16 channels of ADAT I/O, monitor grouping, and remote control of multi-channel Auto Gain — all available with a firmware update in Focusrite Control 2.
16 channels of ADAT I/O
Scarlett 18i20 now features 16 channels of ADAT I/O, allowing you to configure your studio setup with 16 additional inputs and outputs at 44.1/48kHz over ADAT — perfect for live sessions, large recordings, and I/O-heavy setups. Connect two additional Scarlett 18i20’s or OctoPre’s and access up to 24 input channels and 28 output channels.
Monitor groups
Configure your multi-speaker setups, including 2.1 and 5.1 surround, using Monitor groups. Assign a source to your chosen output, adjust each group’s trim level to achieve a balanced sound, and control it all via the Main Output dial — available on Scarlett 16i16, 18i16, and 18i20.
Remote control of Multichannel Auto Gain
Stay focused on your performance with fewer trips to the computer by enabling Multi-Channel Auto Gain using the Focusrite Control 2 app for iOS and Android for Scarlett 18i20 — perfect for drummers recording in a small space on their own.
Unlock these new features by connecting your interface to your computer, and updating Focusrite Control 2.
